ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT PARTNERS WITH NORTH EAST HUMANITARIAN HUB ON WOMEN AND YOUTHS EMPOWERMENT

The Director General Media and Communications to Adamawa State Governor Mr. Solomon kumangar has reiterated that the Fintiri's led administration is delivering the promise of empowering youths and women in the state.
The DG who visited the office of the North East Humanitarian and Innovation Hub in Yola commended the management team for using innovations and information technology in tackling the humanitarian and developmental challenges caused by conflict and disasters in the region.
He said that he was impressed by the level of service delivery, and commended the hub for providing prosthetic limbs to a serving police officer, a young vigilante officer who fell victim to bandits last december amongst 3 other beneficiaries from Kano, Borno and Gombe states.
Kumangar added that the state government will partner with the Hub towards delivering the campaign promises of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri through women and youths empowerment.
Speaking earlier, the founder of the Hub, Alh. Ahmad Modibbo expressed their readiness to partner the state government in providing quality service to the people.
The founder who was represented by Center Manager Queen Ene Dalughut said it will soon start the fixation of limbs to beneficiaries, women's coding and entrepreneurship programme which will be host 100 women in partnership with IT Giants CISCO and Google.
The creation of bio-gas digester plant at the Malkohi IDP camp which utilizes liquid and solid waste to produce bio-gas which will serve rural communities while promoting environmental and sanitary health practices amongst others.
The North East Humanitarian Innovation Hub was launched in 2018 by the Vice President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osibanjo.
The Hub provides co-working spaces for all kinds of start-ups with adequate security, a serene environment and eco-friendly innovation driven atmosphere.
