Police in Yola,Adamawa State are Investigating the mystery behind the Killing a young lady in a hotel room in Karewa GRA,Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The Hotel, Holiday Inn located in the heart of Jimeta-Yola has never experienced this scenario,b most of the hotels especially those running sundry shot time arrangements are prone to these types of criminality.
The yet to identified lady was beheaded and no trace of address on her as her phone was also said to have been missing.
The deceased was said to have came into the hotel with a man suspected to be her boyfriend to lodge as guests in the hotel.
The man was said to have came out much later to inform the reception that he was going out to make purchases.
The source stated further that the guest did not return and they went to check if the room was vacated, that was when they saw the headless body of the lady in the room.
Police Public Relations Officer,SP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje said while investigation is still ongoing, the police has arrested three suspects who are still being interrogated.
He however, cautioned Hoteliers to profile their guests and monitor suspicious activities within the area and report people of questionable characters to the police for immediate action, and vowed to apprehend the suspect.
The Police in the State had earlier issued a statement warning criminal elements that the Security especially the Police have initiated more proactive measures aimed at securing the state and appealed to the citizens to assist the police with useful information to enable them succeed in fighting crimes and criminality.
According to him, the Command is poised to safeguarding lifes and properties of the people.
While appealing for calm in the current Murder case, the police and the management of the hotel are doing everything legally possible to arrest the culprits and their accomplices
