Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of six (6) applicants with fake documents at the ongoing police recruitment exercise.
The Spokesman of the Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, disclosed this to newsmen in Yola, Adamawa State Capital on Tuesday, saying that the applicants were arrested during the screening exercise.
According to him, the applicants were discovered to have forged their certificates to gain employment, saying that the accused are being investigated.
He explained that so far a total of 16,736, applicants have been successfully screened and that the exercise will continue till 29th January 2024, to cover all the 29,848 applicants in the state.
