BREAKING NEWS: ADAMAWA  STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION DECLARED INCONCLUSIVE


It appears to be a new twist in the Gubernatorial election of Adamawa State as the Adamawa State Returning Officer Prof Andrew Haruna has declared the result inconclusive.
Speaking at the state collation center Prof Haruna Andrew said that the total number of cancelled votes is greater than the difference between the winner and the runner up.
The candidate of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party in the state Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was on the verge of winning the keenly contested Gubernatorial election as he won 12 out of the 21 Local Government Areas while the incumbent Governor Muhammdu Umaru Jibrilla won 9.
