The Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone, Ishaku Abbo has during the Budget defence of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development at the National Assembly noted that "Sporting activity is a multi billion dollars revenue generation venture that has been given less attention to by the Nigerian Government.
Senator Abbo called on the New Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare to create at least 3 Federal Government own sports academies where young people can go learn and do well through sports.
Abbo added that grassroots sporting activities should be encouraged from the primary level to inter community sports, because it is the only largest activity that units people easily in the world today.
